MySQL Disk Usage

HI,

WHM does not seem to keep a check on the sql disk usage of accounts. The sql usage can actually be higher than the total disk space allowed for that account.

Is there any way to track and control sql disk usage so it does not overgrow the actual disk space allowed to that account?

The only current method is to use /scripts/updatemysqlquota and the schedule it to run on a frequent basis (e.g. hourly or daily). However, there is a significant risk in this method whereby MySQL will crash and refuse to start if any account goes over quota.

Well, thats not a very nice way to find out one of your accounts is over-quota ......

cPanel folks should be aware of this issue and should have already done something to fix it.

Can someone from cPanel please reply?

Check bugzilla there's an enhancement request for this.
