Default mysql error, urgent please help

I don't know what happened suddenly. MySQL is down and restarting it shows:

mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "Warning, no valid mysql.sock file found.mysql has failed").

    Specs:
    Fedora Core 1
    cPanel + WHM

    I ran:
    ln -s /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock /tmp/mysql.sock
    /scripts/updatenow
/scripts/restartsrv_mysql --check (showed error that file not found)
    update apache

Ran "Update Server Software" in WHM and showed this (note the mysql errors):

There is a problem with mysql RPM that cpanel is using for install.

Try to get the correct RPM for mysql i guess.

Yes, The unixsoft.org mirror has some bad RPM's on it so you need to modify your /etc/hosts file to force it to download from a second known good mirror.

Where can I find these other mirrors?
