MYSQL fails on install

Hey Everyone,

I appologize for the lack of details here. I've installed the latest install of cpanel on 3 servers now and am getting the same problem.

On RHEL4 on one server apache installs and when I go to the IP it shows the correct "No site at this ip" page from Cpanel. But CPANEL and WHM don't work. When I boot the server it tries to load mySQL and fails. This is a new install brand new server.

Same thing on CENT OS. In CENT 0S I am able to use fixmysql and force upgrade it and it worked, but crashed yesterday.

I've tried all the forums about sock errors, nothing has helped yet. I'll get an error log as soon as I'm back at the office.

Does anyone know of any bugs in the current installer?

Try /scripts/mysqlup --force .. and see what u get there ?

On CENTOS I got a kernel panic .

I'm trying it now on RHEL 4. Its funny how both of them fail on the same things on boot and both mysql errors are the same.. I'll post the error log when I get it here in a couple minutes.

Ok, RHEL 4 MYSQL booted now. Still no WHM or Cpanel though.

NFS STATD is still failing. Apache is loading fine.

I didn't install the OS's and when I looked a little closer I realized that SELINUX was enabled. I've disabled and am reinstalling CPANEL.
