    Default mysql/phpmyadmin

    I'm getting this error for PHPMyAdmin (note: just upgraded to edge)

    Warning: session_write_close() [function.session-write-close]: open(/tmp/sess_08f6cf0fc0e7c2bac46cdebc4cd9ae16, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/index.php on line 44

    I was getting a error saying that mysql failed to start, but i checked the status in whm and it's online. My mysql billing & forum scripts are working correcly, so im pretty sure its online.

    Not sure whats acting up.. other people dont have any problems with the latest edge.

    Thanks in advance,

    Have you rebooted the server yet?

    When making major update changes such as changing release branches,
    you should reboot your server after running /scripts/upcp.

    I have found that things are often a little screwed up and not working
    right after big updates like that until you go ahead and do a reboot.

    Now for regular daily updates, a reboot shouldn't be required but
    for something major like going to a different release tier like Edge,
    I would definitely do it to make sure everything is loaded correctly.
