Name server config...

we are currently setting up a test environment and for now, want to run NS1 and NS2 on the same box. So, I have one shared hosting server and then a seperate server that i'd like to be NS1 & NS2. I have set one nic as NS1 with it's on ip and the other nic as NS2, with it's own ip.. I'm still kinda new to this stuff and I'm not sure where to go from here. If someone could give me a shove in the right direction that would be great.

EDIT: thought I should clarify, the nameserver is running cpanel-dnsonly.

I've noticed if eth1 is enabled I can't ping eth0, but once it's disabled everything is fine? I've checked /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth1 and it all looks ok.. any ideas?
