Default named.conf gets owned by root so named fails to restart

    WHM 10.1.0
    cPanel 10.2.0-R67
    SuSE 9.0 i686
    WHM X v3.1.0

Everytime I add a new user and named.conf gets modified with the new zone, the named.conf file gets owned by root.root insteed of named.named.
And, of course, named can't be restarted because it can't read the conf file.
Any fix for this? Thank you.

It should be owned by root:root, have you checked the permissions on the file which should be 644?
