    Default named.conf ... overwrite

    Hi,

    We currently use :

    - the Cpanel DNS Cluster solution.
    - WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-S114
    - CentOS

    Our problem :

When we are doing a manual modification to our named.conf file, the modification gget overwrited after an amount of time.

Someone know what is the process who overwrite the named.conf file ?
And any way to prevent the named.conf modification to be overwrited ?

    Regards,

    Dany

Well, since the cPanel DNS cluster is maintaining named.conf you shouldn't modify it WRT zone file edits, you should be using the main cPanel server that you're clustering it with via WHM.
