    Default named ignoring named.conf?

    Hi ,

I recently added/changed named.conf, restarted named - still it keeps using the OLD named.conf settings. Server runs latest Release tree.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure you dont have more than one on your server?. We had THREE named.conf files, one from the original install of the OS and then one which seemed to stop updating a year or so ago and another in a different directory which was the real current one.

Yes, the 'real' named.conf is in /var/named/chroot/etc/
    Edited there and it works.

    Thanks.
