    Default Nameserver/Hostname Issues

    The only way I can seem to access my web files is when i go to the ipaddress./~username

    How would I go about getting my name server or the ip address to point to my public_html directory so when I type in the ip address (or later a domain) my web page is loaded? Thanks.

    That would be a dedicated IP assigned to that domain in WHM.

    If you are wanting the main IP address to show a different page, then you will need to manually modify the /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf and search for NameVirtualHost IPHERE and move it just above the virtualhost for that domain.

    Please remember to save the changes over builds, you will have to run;

    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/build_apache_conf
