Need help repairing drive...

Can anyone suggest what to do for a crashed lvm2 formatted drive? I was told by two techs that the volume was non repairable and "I believe that the / partition may be corrupted" by another.

Sorry for a double post but people would read this category much more than the other.

I guess you cannot do anything with that crased LVM partition. You will not get anything out of that partition and nither you can repair it as it is crashed. Create another one and start using it if you wish to.

BTW, what do you get while mounting the drive or changing directory to it.
