Default netpbm won't install through cpanel

I've tried installing netpbm via "Install and RPM" in WHM. It said that it completed the installation and now it is showing in the RPM list as "netpbm (reinstall)" but it does not appear to be installed.

whereis netpbm returns no results for me.

The only result I get with rpm -qa | grep netpbm is:
    netpbm-9.24-11.30.1

And I can't locate any of the netpbm programs such as pnmtopng so it appears that netpbm didn't not install.

    Can anyone help?

From shell you can run the following to show you what that rpm should have installed and where:

    rpm -ql netpbm

This is what your suggestion gave me. It looks to me like I'm missing all the programs the netpbm RPM should have installed?

    root@server1 [~]# rpm -ql netpbm
    /usr/lib/libpbm.so.9
    /usr/lib/libpbm.so.9.23
    /usr/lib/libpgm.so.9
    /usr/lib/libpgm.so.9.19
    /usr/lib/libpnm.so.9
    /usr/lib/libpnm.so.9.23
    /usr/lib/libppm.so.9
    /usr/lib/libppm.so.9.16
    /usr/share/doc/netpbm-9.24

That's all that is in that rpm. You're probably after the netpbm-progs and netpbm-devel rpms as well.

I am not sure what you meant?

It can often be simpler to use:

    /scripts/ensurerpm <package>

Then you'll be using whichever OS update procedure is configured for use by cPanel (be it yum or up2date, etc).
