New account password issue

Hi All,

We are having an issue with creating new accounts in WHM.

We create one just fine, just as we always have.

But once created, we cant log into the new accounts via FTP or get into their Cpanel using the username and password we stipulated when creating the account.

We can hit the Cpanel button in List accounts and get in no problem, but this is using the Root login details.

So, why cant we get into new accounts using the username and password we set during account setup??

We are currently running (according to the stuff in the top right of the screen)
WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.6-C26829
REDHAT 9 i686 on xen - WHM X v3.1.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have submitted a Cpanel ticket - hope this can get this sorted....
