New accounts dont work!!! - URGENT

I am using the new updated cpanel and im still having the same problem.

When I create an account with WHM, i set it on a dedicated IP. When i try to view the site or SSH to that account on the dedicated IP, I get denied and it says:

The requested URL /~frozen was not found on this server.

And at the bottom it says

Apache/1.3.31 Server at DNS1.ANONYMOUSNETWORKS.COM Port 80

which is not my configured name servers.

Now if I go to the base IP of the server, I can log in fine. Since my clients rely on SSH access to their own dedicated IPs, this is an urgent issue. Please help.

Just try the ip only. Since it is dedicated; the server has only this domain for that ip.

Thats the thing. The site, SSH, and cpanel doesnt work from the dedicated IP that WHM says the account has.

Please check your /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf file and confirm that the virtual host entry looks similar to this.

Note that the dedicated IP I gave in the example is 64.62.180.204

If the problem persists please paste the corresponding httpd.conf entry.

hmm.. is that ip up on the server ? Do a traceroute and see..

you can also try an ifconfig and see if the ip is there.

am not at office now.. but will research on it as soon as i get back.

Yea. the ips go to my server. if I try one, it just reports that that there is no site set up on that ip. Even tho that WHM says that there is.

the IP is correctly configured on the box. it brings up the cpanel no website configured at this address.

if ~frozen brings up a 404 you may want to check your tweak settings and make sure you can use ~userid to bring up sites. That could be your problem.

Well 1 major problem is frozenwire.com if thats a domain your trying to add to this box is configured way wrong..
a whois lookup shows the ns to be ns1.frozenwire.com on 66.79.173.50 and ns2.frozenwire.com on 66.79.173.51 but when you run a dnsreport.com on it the ns that come up are ns10.wssnoc.net. [205.214.68.177] ns11.wssnoc.net. [205.214.68.178].

do you have any dns clustering setup at all?

The name servers are still in the process of being registered. Thoes are the old nameservers.

Everything I have been trying to set up has been accessing IP based accouns through the IP address.

Where is this setting but would it prevent the IP from becoming set up correctly?

icanectc must have written it wrong.. it is at the WHM

Tweak Security => mod_userdir Tweak

out there if "Enable mod_userdir Protection." is checked; uncheck it and save.

Still no.

This is getting really frustrating. And CPANEL support doesnt follow through on it. They responded to the support and i stated that they account will be shown under the dedicated IP but can not be accessed. They created the account and said it works fine but attempting to SSH or even open the site from the dedicated IP fails.

Anyone know if there is a config file i can look at?

Ok. I created anohter dedicated IP account last night and it worked on the dedicated ip. I tried to create another one and still no go.

The accounts on dedicated IP's dont become active. WHM says that they are on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but when i go to that dedicated, active ip, i get a "No website configured" page.

Anyone want to look at my httpd.conf or have ANY idea what other files to play with?
