New DNS servers

Hi

All the domains in my setup have the following two dns servers in there DNS records:

ns1.mydns.com
ns2.mydns.com

now I need to add

ns3.mydns.com
ns4.mydns.com

Now you may ask why dont your change them all, well I have 7000 domains in the cluster. Can I ask for your advice on how to automate the task ?

Thanks

And I ask "why don't you change them all?"

Apparently you must be thinking you have to manually type in the changes to every zone file or you wouldn't be asking the question. LOL

You do know you could update all your zone files with a single sed command or replace pipe, right?

If you want to add reporting or split updates in batches, you could write a small script but no matter how you do this, it's all of 2 seconds to issue the command to update all your zone files on your servers.
