    this is very useful to track the spammers...

    I had recently faced one problem because of spammer on my server, my IP was about to get listed in spam list by spamcop and other sites...

    so if there is any option which lists out total number of mails sent by each user / domain then it will help to track the spammers effectively...

    It already does this by username.

    Login to WebHost Manager and click "View Mail Statistics"

    Top 50 local senders by message count
    -usernamehere1
    -usernamehere2

    Top 50 local senders by volume
    -usernamehere1
    -usernamehere2

    If it doesn't show any Mail Statistics, click Tweak Settings and check "Exim Stats Daemon"

    A different approach,. or perhaps another mechanism for catching spammers or people who have a system that send emails with no verification:

    I have users who run forums. Most of them have a Signup verification tools that sends an email with a verification link.
    Some users,.. mostly the new users... don't realize that they need this.

    what happens is.. that I notice that all of a sudden I have 300 email msgs in the queue and I need to delete them all one by one.

    I would like to recieve an Email message that Alerts me of "Your Mail Queue is over 100 msgs" warning (separate from other system warnings.. so that I can have a different email address for such warning messages).
    Also,. the setting of the 100 msgs.. should be configurable.. so that I can set the threshold.. say 50.. or 60 or whatever value I want.

    WHM > View Mail Stats and WHM > View Relayers already gives you that information - or are you referring to something else?

    Wink Limit memory usage for clients

    Can't stay up all night reading 19 pages worth, so my suggestion is:

    if an account eats N percentage of resources (add ability set limits globally for accounts and individually) , then turn off the account.

    example:
    A user has written terrible code and eats 80% of my memory nightly from a badly written cron job. If this limit is surpassed, suspend the account!

    both for memory and CPU checks
    >CPU would have to be over the limit for X amount of time
    >Memory would have to be over the limit X times within X amount of time.

    might exist and if it does I'm sure Chirpy will be so kind as to point me in the right direction.

    yeah for open source non-software patents!!! you go parliment do the right thing
    us over the pond support no software patents.

    Process Resource Monitor will kill the process and send you an e-mail. Not exactly what you want but it helps prevent the server from going down and notifies you so that you can fix or suspend.

    cd
    wget http://www.rfxnetworks.com/downloads/prm-current.tar.gz
    tar –zxf prm*
    cd prm*
    ./install.sh

    nano /usr/local/prm/conf.prm

    Change to these...
    USE_KLOG="1"
    USR_ALERT="1"
    USR_ADDR="youremail@yourdomain.com"

    Save and exit nano.

    It will run every 5 minutes I think?

    To run it every minute...

    /usr/local/sbin/prm -j
    crontab -uroot -e
    * * * * * /usr/local/prm/prm -q >> /dev/null 2>&1
