I am looking for an option like an "instant access alias" or hostingcompany.com/~username to get to a sites on the cpanel server during development or before the DNS has been changed to this cpanel server.

Have a peek in the Security Center in WHM > Apache mod_userdir Tweak.


The mod_userdir tweak enables/disables the ability to view sites on your server by typing http://servers.host.name/~username.
