newmailcgi notification + Contact manager

Hi,

Despite the fact I have the notification level of "Recently uploaded CGI Scripts" set to 3,
and my pager set to 1, i still receive notifications of this to my pager device.

Why is this?

Others such as Account creation etc, do not go to my pager!!? And they're all set to 3 too!

Turned out to be a buglet in cpanel - The actual config files didnt exist, and cpanel was just displaying the default values, so my change hadnt been reflected.

Thanks loads to cpanel for sorting this though - Unbelievably good service!

How did you fix this? I have this turned off and I still get pages

it's because the default version of cpanel doesnt actually create the necessary configuration files, so when you update the mailing preferences, the changes dont get saved anywhere! nice

You'll have to raise a ticket with cpanel and they'll sort it.
