No confirmation when DNS is edited?!

Hi Peeps!

I'm having a problem with one of my servers at the moment, where by i go into add a DNS record manually in WHM and when i click Add, it doesn't give me then "Zone Modified!" message.

Also, once the record is added, the nameserver doesn't seem to reply to queries on the new record w/out a reboot of bind.

I've checked all the rndc settings, and they appear to be intact.

Does anyone have any ideas?
