Not receiving any email

Hi there. For about the last 24 hours (that I know of) email has stopped being delivered to my domain. I have tried sending email to my site's email addresses from my work email, Hotmail and Gmail. none of these messages are getting through (no delivery receipt is coming back). I checked the mail queue in WHM, and nothing is there either. It's like they are just disappearing. Spamassassin is disabled, so it isn't getting caught there,.

No changes were made to my knowledge to the MX records or DNS zone, and I'e restarted the server many times to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My server is running WHM 10.8.0 and cPanel 10.9.0-S119.

can you telnet to your computer on either your primary or secondary (if setup) SMTP ports?

It's possible for an email to sit in a queue for several days before being returned...

I'll give it a look. I've opened a ticket with my server provider, but they aren't too proactive.

It sounds like you may have trouble with clamav. If you have root, you may want to check that its running fine. An update should fix it by now

/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/whostmgr2 --updateaddons


after running that, check your clamd.conf if you get boolean errors.

any uncommented parameter will require a "yes" option such as:

scanmail yes

Well, the problem was resolved by my provider. Not sure what they did, bu the tech told me he ran this command.
