    Default One domain, Two servers. HELP!

    I have a server linked to my domain and recently bought a new server for FFMPEG accounts.

    My question is, how do I link that I domain to both servers?

    Well, I have it linked to it, got the hostname and Nameservers working, but when ever I go to create a subdomain on the server, I can not get the account to show.

    Here is some info!

    Domain:
    ihubhost.com

    First Server:

    Hostname:
    hub.ihubhost.com

    Nameservers:
    ns1.ihubhost.com => 69.162.116.42
    ns2.ihubhost.com => 69.162.116.43

    Second Server:

    Hostname:
    ffmpeg.ihubhost.com

    Nameservers:
    ns3.ihubhost.com => 66.96.200.40
    ns4.ihubhost.com => 66.96.200.41

    If I create an account on hub.ihubhost.com like social.ihubhost.com it works and you can see the site, but if I create an account on ffmpeg.ihubhost.com like ffmpegtest.ihubhost.com, it does not work, the account is created on the second server, but you can not open the subdomain.

    I hope you understand what I am trying to do,

    Thanks,
    Dave

    If you have added "ffmpeg.ihubhost.com" as a sub-domain on Server 2, you have to edit the DNS zone of ihubhost.com on Server 1 and add an A record for ffmpeg sub-domain.

    Edit the DNS zone at /var/named/ihubhost.com.db and add the following line at the bottom and restart the named service:

    ffmpeg IN A secondserverip

    ffmpeg.ihubhost.com is the hostname and not a sub-domain, I created the subdomain ffmpeg1.ihubhost.com and followed your instructions and that worked, the I created ilike.ihubhost.com and that does not work, it seems the only way I can get this to work, is to add the zone everytime an FFMPEG package is created, is there a way to do it automatically?

    The easiest solution is to setup DNS clustering between the two servers; this will make it possible to have DNS zone modifications automatically synchronized between the two systems. DNS clustering may be setup via WHM at the following menu path, with linked documentation: WHM: Main >> Cluster/Remote Access >> Configure Cluster (Guide to DNS Cluster Configuration)

    Thanks, it worked!

    I had a few problems getting the servers to sync together, but I finally got it working, I have been trying to do this for 2 days!

    Thanks!!!!!
