One of the nameservers is shown twice with diff IP#s at WHM Assigned Nameserver Ips

I choose delete - it says it removed it...but doesn't.

I edited /etc/nameserverips and cannot get rid of this anomaly. Am seeing some sites act unstable and am suspecting this....

What is the IP for this name server that is registered with the registrar. I have seen WHM pull info from ICANN registrars and cause this same issue.

The desired IP as registered with registrar is listed first but then the domain name IP is listed as well.

For example: ns.name.net has IP .129 and name.net is hosted on ded IP# .157

nameserverips

lists ns.name.net twice. One entry = 129 and another entry = 157

In WHM's Tweak Settings, try enabling:

Disable whois lookups for the nameserver IP manager.

Then edit /etc/nameserverips
