    Default Open connection ?

For the last week my MRTG shows that i have one connection that is always open.

    netstat -nap | grep ESTABLISHED

    udp 0 0 127.0.0.1:32771 127.0.0.1:32771 ESTABLISHED 2576/postmaster

It looks that this is the connection that is always opan, it that good or bad thing? And how should i close this?

You need to identify exactly what the process is doing:

    lsof | grep 2576

That will identify the files that process has open and hopefully indicate to you exactly what it is. You should be concerned about this, because if you don't know what it it, it might be a problem.
