Default Operating system for new server

Getting ready to order a new server for web hosting from softlayer. It's been a couple years and now it's time to upgrade. Problem is I would like to know the most stable operating system for cpanel. At the moment I use 32 bit red hat enterprise 3. Below are the choices I'm thinking:

    Red Hat Enterprise Linux - 5 (32 bit) $ 0 $ 0
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux - 5 (64 bit) $ 0 $ 0
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux - ES 4 (32 bit) $ 0 $ 0
Red Hat Enterprise Linux - ES 4 (64 bit)

    CentOS 4 (32 bit) $ 0 $ 0
    CentOS 4 (64 bit) $ 0 $ 0
    CentOS 5 (32 bit) $ 0 $ 0
    CentOS 5 (64 bit)

Please give me some insite on redhat versus centos and 32 bit versus 64 bit. Also redhat 4 versus 5. I don't want my customers having any new problems after I upgrade.

Thanks for any input you can give, really appreciate it.

    cPanel/Enkompass Access Level

    Root Administrator

    Default

aside from the fact this horse has been beat to death over the yrs from what I have read and experienced for cpanel you can not go wrong with RHEL4 or 5 or if you want a free OS then CentOS4 or 5. We use CentOS 4 on our servers and have almost no trouble
