Default Orphan perl588installer folder in home dir?

Hi, I've noticed that after upgrade to cPanel 11.23.3-S25971, apparently orphan files are left in the home folder: /perl588installer/ and /perl588installer.tar.gz. And the question is: can those files using 112 MB be safely deleted or are they neeeded there for some reason?
    Thanks

Oh thanks, I'm happy not to be annoying with so many questions. And there are more to come since I want to deeply know all the thing about cpanel admin/support/mantainance
    Best regards

    Another orphan file?...

    Code:
    # d foo.gz -hlt
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8.3M Jan 28 01:06 foo.gz

    # zcat foo -l
             compressed uncompressed ratio uncompressed_name
                8665597 8679466 0.2% foo
It appeared in the same folder as of the perl588installer reported in this post, both after this saturday upgrade to cPanel 11.23.3-S25971.
    Is this another deleteable orphan?

I have no idea. I've not seen that file before.

Well, that's very strange since its file creation date is the same than the hour in which the upgrade started.
May be a collateral download? The compressed file is an 8 MB binary.
    Preventively deleted.
