osCommerce database corruption

We have one client's osC store that has begun occassionally returning errors when customers attempt to login. These errors appear to be random, are are cleared up by repairing the customers_info table. Today, the sessions table also needed repair. Once the DB is repaired it can run fine for a few days or a week or more, but then it seems to corrupt again. This is not happening with any of our other clients as far as we can tell.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue and any suggestions about how to fix it? The client is getting frustrated, and I don't blame them. Thanks in advance for any help!

Anyone who has experienced and corrected similar DB corruption issues with osCommerce?

Sounds to me like a problem in the OSC script. If they have added modifications to it as is common with OSC there may be problems in the code itself causing this..

Any suggestions as to where or what to look for in the script that may be causing this? The store was stable for quite some time prior to this development. There were "contributions" added, but not recently, and things seemed to be be working just fine.
