Exclamation outlook express can not connect to e-mail accounts after moving my server.

    Hi,

I moved my server in the last week and my mail client (Outlook Express) can not login the mail accounts yet. It connects and the passwords are rejected.
I can check my accounts in webmail but mail clients on my own PC can not.
It seems Outlook Express or My PC itself cached the old server address somewhere and it do not check for the new IP address itself.

Some body please let me know, HOW CAN I RESET THIS CACHE?

you may try fire up your command prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns

Alternatively, on your outlook for both SMTP / POP3, change it to the new server IP instead of using mail.yourdomain.com
