Outlook Express Problem

i'm trying to set up an email account on my new domain and i'm running into some difficulties.
first, i tried to use the auto-configure feature in cpanel, but i get this error: Cannot import C:\blah\blah\blah\EMAIL_~1.REG: Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system errof.

So I tried to set it up manually by copying the settings from my other email account which is on the same server. now i can recieve mail at the new account, but cannot send. when i try to send, the login box pops up, as if my user/password is wrong. but it can't be wrong since i recieve email just fine

any ideas of whats going on?

Try removing the option to require Login:



I had the same problem and this fixed it. I am not sure what cPanel did to make this change as of yet though.
