ownerships changed for a user to the ownerships of a domain that had username changed

Ownerships changed for a domain to the ownerships of a different domain that had its username changed.

domain1.com
owner: domain1
group: domain1

domain2.com
owner: domain2
group: domain2

Username for domain1.com was changed to abc so that the ownerships are abc.abc

For somereason cpanel went insane and changed the ownershipd on all files for domain2.com to abc.domain2

Now cpanel, webmail, preinstall scripts, and a bunch of other stuff does not work.


chown domain2.domain2 on the files does not do anything. The ownerships remain abc.domain2


Reponse from cpanel was:
"I remove this user 100%: man pw, man userdel, etc "


I do not know what that means. Can anyone help.

This is what is in /etc/passwod for domain2.com:
domain2:x:32529:32530::/home/domain2:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/noshell

This is what is in /etc/passwod for domain1.com:
domain1:x:32529:32530::/home/domain1:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/noshell
abc:x:32633:32635::/home/abc:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/noshell

Notice the old one (domain1) is still in there.

User for domain1.com (domain1) was not deleted from /etc/passwd when the username was changed to abc for that domain.

Removing the one cpanel didn't remove when the domain name was changed fixed it.
