Password Direcotry - Username has SPACE

Hi Folks,

I did a check here in the forums for others with this issue and possible solutions but didn't find anything.

We have a user that created a password protected directory in their control panel. So far so good. They can go to the directory using the username and password, however the username doesn't show in the LIST box.

Here's what I've been able to see so far;

Username: conor treacy
password: conor

Since I have a SPACE in the username this is stopping the user from being listed in the LIST box. The user can still access the directory using the correct username and password, but it does not show in the list.

If they use "conor" for the username then it shows with no problem.

Anyone have a work around for this user?

AFAIK, spaces are a no go here... use an underscore or no space at all.

Yeah, I've never had a problem with it before, but this user insists on having a space.

I told him just to rembmer the users OR access the password files to see what users were assigned etc.

Just an odd one, so I figured I'd post and see if anyone had any insight
