Password Length

We have been alerted by some of our resellers this morning that the password generator now has a lower limit of 10 characters. Most of our resellers and domains imported with 8 character passwords and that is what they want to continue using. I searched the options I could find to see if there was an admin settable option for min password length but could not find anything. Is there a setting somewhere for that?

Have a look at your WHM > Security Center > Password Strength Configuration page for this.

I had checked that area before and did not see anything. I just checked it again in case I missed something and still do not see anything for password length, just the required password strength.

Sorry, my mistake for not reading the post correctly.

FWIW, 8 character passwords do still work, just not generated with 8 using the generator. I'm just tested to confirm this.
