Default Which payment processor you recommend?

I am looking for a payment processor for major credit cards. All the customer data shall be collected and managed on my site ( I dont want to redirect the customer to a 3rd party site). Which CC processor do you recommend?

GeoTrust Quickpayment might be what I am looking for but it looks like the service disappeared for reasons unknown. Anyone knows?

    Hi,

I strongly recommend the PayPal business account as we have almost 0 issues with them reg. frauds, chargebacks, etc.
Of course, PayPal could be alternative to other paygate. After fiasco with Paysystems - never go there! - we have are processing now happily with WorldPay's FuturePay.

    Cheers.

I use wells fargo, they have the authorize.net gateway, their prices are reasonable. also they have VERY helpfull, and have 24hour tech support.

I have WorldPay, too. It's great when there are no DDOS attacks bringing down their payment servers for 2 and 3 days in a row. Granted, last time it was only half a day...

    Default paypal

does paypal allow automated payments. e.g charge a previous customer a specific amount, without his approval. any does it require each customer to open a paypal account?
I want to implement a one-page order form, which collects only information necessary to complete the order.

    Default geotrust

I will probably go with GeoTrust QuickPayments and an own mercant account. This will save me about 500 bucks a month compared to my current payment collector. How to request the mercant account for MC,Visa,AMEX and stuff for my UK-based Limited company? Which service do you recommend? What are the costs? GeoTrust offers a mercant account registration only to US companies and it costs $250 setup fees.

You have to fill out the forms & mail or fax them

send them the set up fees then the will tell you what your discount rate is as they figure that case by case with autorize.net there are many authorize.net resellers out there

and the all have different deals

but the average is 99 to 200 dollars to set up takes about 3 to 4 days if you send in the paper work fast it might be different for non us residents

my discount rate is 2.39 % with no gateway fees

like I said its a sweet deal i never seen one lower
