Perl 5.8.8 modules problems

Hi

whenever I run for instance /usr/bin/sa-update I get the following warning/error

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i686-linux/Scalar/Util.pm line 30.

But if I do /scripts/perlinstaller --force Scalar::Util, and then run sa-update again, there is no error or warning.

This makes me think that the perl5888 installer isn't building the modules properly and there is no way I can now which ones are working properly or not! I have found another issue with another module that fixed the same way, but this is really bothering me.

Is there any flag or way to make it rebuild all the modules?

I have tried forcing this in the cpanel perinstaller script, but no luck!

That only checks if they are the latest version. And all of them are up to date, only with build problems and keep giving me errors and warnings unless I force them to reinstall.
