Perl Module installation fails

Starting today with a fresh server and fresh WHM install:
WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-R30
CentOS 3.6 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

When trying to install the perl module Image::Magick it fails:

Mirror Check passed for mirror.hyperian.net (/index.html)

Can you please the version of perl installed on your system.

If you have Older version of perl, please upgrade to the latest perl version 5.8.7 and try the following steps

Here is a quick howto on installing it, it's very simple, and can be followed step by step for a successful install:

mkdir /home/src
cd /home/src
wget ftp://ftp.imagemagick.org/pub/ImageM....5.7-17.tar.gz
tar xvzf ImageMagick-5.5.7-17.tar.gz
cd ImageMagick-5.5.7
./configure
make
make install
cd PerlMagick
perl Makefile.PL
make
make install
