    Default php 5.1.4 and Zend Problems

    I've searched around and see that people are having problems with php 5 and mysql..

    However my problem doesn't fall into the MySQL bugs, as I still have our mySQL at 4.0 for right now, I've not decided to upgrade it yet

    However, when I updated to php 5.1.4 last night, now ZEND isn't working for some things

    My php -v shows it's installed..
    root@morpheus [~]# php -v
    PHP 5.1.4 (cli) (built: May 23 2006 17:32:20)

    with Zend Optimizer v3.0.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006, by Zend Technologies
    I'm not sure if I'm missing something or not..
    Thanks in advance.

    I have read in some other threads Zend 3.0 is causing problems and if it is causing you problems you should probably revert to 2.62. We editted the /scripts/installzendopt to the following:

    Code:
    #my $ver = '3.0.0';
    my $ver = '2.6.2';
    Hope that helps you.

    That's right. ZendOptimizer v3.x is not 100% compatible with Php yet. Remove v3.x and install the most stable release v2.6.2

    Okay I downgraded to 2.6.2 and still getting the same error, that PHP can't find zend..

    Is there another version I can downgrade that will be compatiable with 5.1.4 or do I have to go back to 5.0.5

    Zend v2.6.2 is pretty much compatible with Php 4.x.x and v5.x.x
    Are there any error messages?

    Okay so I got this figured out..

    I now have php 5.1.4 and zend optimizer 3.0 working hand in hand with no problems

    I had to re-compile apache (easyapache) with Versioning turned off..
