PHP 5 - can it be used with cpanel?

Has anyone attempted to use PHP 5 with cpanel?

It's certainly quite straightforward to have both PHP4 and PHP5 running alongside each other: http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=45908

As this works, I suppose there should be no problem with just PHP5 on it's own.

Yup, there is no problem in running Php5 with Cpanel as I have my server running Cpanel with Php5.

Hmmmmm, As far as I know about my server I didn't get any major compatibility issues with Php5.

PHP5 itself works fine for me (5.0.4), however to be on the safe side you'd better check up on compatibility concerns if you're going to be switching from PHP4 to PHP5 and completely dropping PHP4:
