php configuration problem.

I configured apache/php with easyapache option 2 to enable phpsuexec. Then I got the configure options from phpinfo and reinstalled php with the same config options plus GD support. But this breaks phpsuexec every time. How can I get phpsuexec and GD to both be enabled?!

What do you mean "breaks phpsuexec" exactly?

I just mean that php no longer runs under phpsuexec. Php files are parsed correctly and displayed correctly, they just are just run as "nobody" instead of the username.

I suggest you login to WHM >> Software >> Apache Update
Click on the button: Load Previous Config. Make sure that "PHP suEXEC Support" is seletced. If not, you need to check the box next to PHP suEXEC Support and rebuild Apache one more time.

Thanks, I should have known that. I was trying to do it manually, and as such, making it harder than it needed to be.
