PHP error since latest buildapache

Several sites are displaying the following error since the last buildapache, which includes PHP 4.3.2. I took care to recompile PHP exactly the same way as it was before after that was completed:

Warning: main(): stream does not support seeking in /home/username/public_html/template/vertical-menu/user_top.html on line 88 (example)

Any ideas as to how to fix this and support seeking in stream again?

Hi:

We've got the same problem in one of our servers. We had to put an @ before the includes to avoid the warning.

This came up here when the upgrade to 4.3.2 went ahead. Searching on Google brought up talk of a PHP bug (which I can't believe has stayed in this long if true) but it was easier to just roll back to 4.3.1 for the time being.

Has anyone found out more about this yet, is there any "fix" on the horizon by DarkORB?

Change your error reporting config in php.ini to

error_reporting =       E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_WARNING

Any users who want to see warnings can increase the error reporting level at the top of their scripts.

FWC got the good answer


Our "cheat" was something like:

include("http://nlfff.com/ffdfd.php");

so with had to put @include ....
