Hi there.. There is a need to increase max_execution_time, max_input_time & memory_limit on your server. This will process the installation properly.

This is related to the cpanel php though isn't it, as this is happening through WHM?

I was wondering if this is related to the PHP 5.3?

    Hello,

As a courtesy, I've copied into text the image error you provided:

PHP Extensions and Applications Package Installer

    Checking Setup

    config-set succeeded

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 314986048 bytes) in Unk….
Going forward, please copy the text of the error and provide the text. A screen print could also be added, but having the error in text that can be copied by those looking at it to do any searches is far easier and takes less time. Thanks for doing that!

Next, WHM > Tweak Settings has settings the restrict WHM and cPanel internal PHP maximum execution, post size and upload size:

    cPanel PHP max execution time
cPanel PHP max POST size (maximum: 2,047)
cPanel PHP max upload size (maximum: 2,047)

These appear under the PHP tab in that area. You may wish to try increasing those values to see if they allow WHM's PHP to run without those errors.

I would also suggest increasing WHM > Tweak Settings > Max cPanel process memory to be at least 512 MB rather than the default 256 MB.

If you still have the issue occur after increasing the above settings, please check /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log to see if you receive any additional error message(s) upon trying to use that area in WHM. If you do, please post the error message here. If you do not, please submit a ticket in WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature. Please post the ticket number here after opening one to allow us to track it.

    Thanks!
