    Default php files create download box

    My php files don't display. They create a download box in the browser, as though the user was trying to download a zip file or something.

    Is this a mime type problem? How do I fix it? Are the wrong headers being sent out?

    They need execute permission rights. The best is to give it to others. or at least apache group.

    Nope. I made it world executable and my browser still tries to download the file. Any other suggestions?
