If you have Zend installed, then it is:

    /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini

If you do not have Zend installed, then it is:

    /usr/local/lib/php.ini

NOTE: For users who have Zend installed, /usr/local/lib/php.ini will exist as a symlink to the actual file, /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini.

you can also use this command to find the right location:

    php -i |grep php.ini
