PHP Login Issues

ok, after an hour of searching I am unable to find an aswer...

I updated to the latest version in WHM for PHP 5.x, MySQL 5.x and Apache 2.x... Now it seems users are not able to log into their applications that are PHP/MySQL based. The applications work such as the ability to read the forums, view information, etc.. etc.. however they are just not able to login to the administrative sections for these apps.

It does not appear site specific as one of the applications from Modernbill is having the same problem. All applications kick you back to the login page after signing in.
