    Default php mail() problem

    One of our clients got such problem:
    His domain is hosted on server #1, but the MX record of the domain is pointed to server #2. and he is using his own name server.

    Now the client says:
    Whenever I write a script to send mail to an email account, I want it to be sent to our mail servers #2, not get directed to the email accounts created on your server #1. If I send an email, in php, it always seems to get directed to your mail server #1, which it shouldn't, since the MX entries should now be pointing to our mail server #2.

    Can anybody kindly help?
    I'v deleted DNS records on our name servers, but it looks doesn't help.

    Default

    Is the domain listed in /etc/localdomains?

    If so, remove it and add it to /etc/remotedomains

    If you have no file called remotedomains, just create one, the format is the same as the localdomains file .
