    Default PHP PEAR install

Is it possible to install PEAR modules from WHM or CPANEL? I don't want to give access to the command line just to run "pear install xml_rss" thanks!

Sure, you can re-compile Apache with Pear module via the WHM.

I think that the question concerns installing separate Pear packages, not the installation or removal of Pear as a whole.

If you don't want to give out command line access for the installation of Pear packages, you could use the Pear Webfrontend.

Read the Pear documentation at http://pear.php.net/package/PEAR_Frontend_Web to find out more.
