    Default phpMyAdmin shows ALL databases

    Hi all,
I have a problem with a server with WHM 9.9.9. Since I upgraded MySQL to 4 any user can see, using phpMyAdmin, all databases on the server even if they dont belong to him.

I tried updating WHM and all the system software, server software and backend scripts with no luck.

Has anybody an idea on how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

    Stefano

It should only show all databases to superusers, did you check the users' privileges?

Thanks for your reply. Before actually checking here I upgraded WHM/CPanel to current release (it was configured to use the stable one) and it upgraded MySQL correctly. Now everything works.

Just for info, put this in your /etc/my.cnf, in [mysqld]:

    safe-show-database

    Save and restart mysql.
