phpmyadmin user login error

Hi.

I reinstalled phpMyAdmin by cPanel upgrade because I accidently replaced and deleted the phpMyAdmin folder. So after the reinstall, phpMyAdmin work within WHM and can access it under root.

Problem is that when users log into their cPanel and access phpMyAdmin, it gave them this error

Wrong username/password. Access denied.


I can view everyone databases when logged into root in WHM but users can not access phpMyAdmin in cPanel. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks

I'm seeing this problem today as well. Is there a known bug here?

The client username and password aren't working to access phpmyadmin through cpanel.

Any fix?

check the phpmyadmin installtion folder. there will be a configuration file. you will have to set the mysql configurations correct over there.
