    Default Pii?

I realize the FAQs say cpanel requires a PIII processor, but figured it never hurts to ask stupid questions?

Can I get by with a PII as a backup server running cpanel? If so (I hope) which flavor of linux would you recommend?

Sure a PII will work...obviously a faster processor means better performance from both your system and the control panel.

Any flavour of linux will work...whatever you're comfortable with. The majority of users choose RedHat because everyone else uses it and there's tons of support for it.
