    Default please help, I have the BIND error and cant fix

    hey guys,
    I got the following BIND error (i have had this before and fixed it, but now it wont go away no matter what)


    rndc: connect failed: connection refused


    here is info from the log:

    Sep 29 23:47:34 in named[23060]: listening on IPv4 interface lo, 127.0.0.1#53
    Sep 29 23:47:34 in named: named startup failed

    I have tried everything suggested in these forums, and so far nothing at all is working.....so any further help would be greatly appreciated.

    tried /scripts/fixndc and /scripts/fixnamed ?

    is your name server setup correct in server setup ?

    as usually.. try search menu you'll get the fix.

    vi /etc/named.conf
    find all instances of rndc-key and change to rndckey
