please help me bind problem

when i try to reload my bind i get this error message

rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid.

this happens also when i add domains, subdomains, etc

I tried doing the "initial name server setup" it starts normally but after i try to reload bind and same error, what should i do?

did that and the error continues

edit your /etc/named.conf file...and check to see if the

key "rndc-key" (it might not have the dash or it might)

but check and make sure it's the same as what key is being used in controls

somewhere under controls it says keys { rndc-key }

anyway they have to match up...that's how i fixed it for me
