PLEASE let us disable cgi-sys/formmail* scripts!

Please, please give us the option to disable these scripts. We get more questions about bogus emails that people recieve through these scripts every day. Most of you probably know what I'm talking about.

Spammers have been trying to use these scripts to send spam for ages. Now the only ones getting their garbage are the account holders themselves.

Deleting the scripts is pointless since CPanel just overwrites them again every night.

PLEASE give us the option to disable these in Tweak Settings!

Just to be different - I like them. I've renamed them, so spammers can't call them. I only do manual updates to stable so renaming them after an update isn't a pain (I wrote a script to do it, automagically).

Rather than complain about them maybe you need to manage them better?

well, after disabling them using chmod, you could set attributes to prevent further changes.

chmod 000 .....cgi-sys/formmail.cgi
chattr +i .....cgi-sys/formmail.cgi
