Default Plesk site backup to a Cpanel Server account

Any tips on how to transfer a Plesk site backup to a Cpanel Server account?

I have downloaded a Plesk backup, the resulting files on the Cpanel server, are located at /home/userid/ are:

    domainname.com_2006.02.04_11.05
    domainname.com_2006.02.04_11.05.part2
    domainname.com_2006.02.04_11.05.part3
    domainname.com_2006.02.04_11.05.part4

I noted that a Plesk default site directory is "htdoc", while Cpanel uses "public_html"... how do I over-come this to transfer the site to a Cpanel server?

only manually. but it is not very hard. just move appropriate folder content, like this:

    htdocs >> public_html
    and etc.

How/where do I open the backups as described? Are they tar.gz? Will the 1st automatically progress to parts 2, 3, and 4?

it is most likely tar.gz archives. it is most popular archivator for backups. but, we are not using plesk, so i am not sure. if this tar.gz archive, tar should be unpacke it automatically with option tar zxvf or tar zxvfM

The backups I have seen from Plesk are XML - so I was not able to really do anything with them. Was easier just to do manually.
